As part of our continued growth, we are strengthening our teams dedicated to critical HPC environments, serving clients with demanding use cases across various sectors (Banking, Industry, Energy, Insurance, etc.).
As an HPC Engineer, you will work on high-criticality computing environments. Your role will center on advanced support, operations, and the optimization of HPC applications.
Your contributions will include:
Operating and supporting complex HPC platforms.
Assisting users with application-specific workflows.
Analyzing, diagnosing, and optimizing the execution of compute applications.
Enhancing operational reliability and building technical documentation (capitalization).
Tech Stack: Linux, Slurm, MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, Lustre, HPC debugging, and profiling tools.
Provide advanced support and operations for HPC platforms.
Manage large-scale compute clusters and supercomputers.
Guide users through the execution, diagnostics, and optimization of their applications.
Investigate application behavior using NVIDIA profiling tools and distributed debuggers.
Contribute to performance tuning, specifically regarding GPU acceleration and storage I/O.
Optimize storage access patterns, particularly on Lustre filesystems.
Maintain and enrich installation, operation, and support documentation.
Ensure high Quality of Service (QoS) and infrastructure reliability in collaboration with technical and business teams.
Support: Comfortable with advanced technical support (L2/L3) in complex environments.
Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with large-scale HPC clusters.
Soft Skills: Ability to interact with demanding stakeholders (both technical and business-oriented); rigorous, analytical, and complex problem-solver.
Knowledge of subsurface analysis applications (Seismic, RTM, etc.) is a significant plus.
Languages: C++, Fortran.
Scheduling: Slurm.
Parallelism: MPI (OpenMPI / MPICH), OpenMP.
GPU: CUDA.
Systems: Linux.
Storage: Lustre (strong understanding of I/O optimization within code).
Debug/Profiling: NVIDIA tools, distributed tools like DDT/MAP, and TotalView.
Ticketing: Redmine, ServiceNow.
Monitoring: Grafana/Kibana, Nagios.

Contract: Full-time (CDI).
Location: Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
Start Date: Early June.
Salary: Up to €60k / year.
Remote Work: Up to 2 days per week.
