This years Meeting C++ conference offers with 5 Tracks one of the best programs. Unfortunately October 2025 is the worst in sales Meeting C++ ever had.
Next weeks conference offers 3 keynotes by Anthony Williams, Frances Buontempo and James McNellis. The conference will have a heavy focus on safety and security in C++, and offers lots of talks on the new C++20/23/26 standards. Currently there are still 40+ Tickets for Berlin available. So if you have budget to support Meeting C++ with, think about getting a ticket for the onsite or online event! After conference video access is included!
Due to frozen budgets and the general state of some parts of the economy, there is still a lot of space in Berlin for folks to come. Tickets for onsite and online will stay on sale until Wednesday next week. A recent survey on LinkedIn showed that around 43% seem to have frozen funds and 26% seem to have a budget decrease for 2025 in spending for training in C++. There are many specific reasons for this, one is for sure that the german car industry isn't doing well, and hence not showing up in the numbers they otherwise would. Also I expect the tariffs to play a role - together with the german and other european economies not doing so well, this forces companies to save money.
In general its been a hard year for C++ conferences with less attendees than in the prior years. As a hybrid conference Meeting C++ offers for some orgs a way out in spending less on travel but still getting the C++ content of the conference.
