I had seen this last year in a lightning talk at CppCon, but seeing this as a full presentation was very interesting. This year, I reservered 2 slots on the schedule for lightning talks, which is the last part in the schedule to fill out. In order to give a lighting talk at Meeting C++, you have to be attending the confernce, it does not matter if you are attendee, speaker or staff member, if you'd like to submit a lightning talk, think about what you wanna talk.

One piece that was missing from the Meeting C++ conference was a social event in the evening. Only at the very start in 2012, we had a dinner for everybody, sponsored back then by think-cell. It was a glorious evening, still remembered by those who attended Meeting C++ in 2012.

Late tickets are coming soon! There is still a few tickets left for Meeting C++ 2015, and by next week the prices are going to rise! There is never a planned contingent for late tickets, so if the normal tickets sell out, thats it.

So, I'm just back from CppCon, and I realize, there is still a lot of stuff to do for the workshops, like tell you that Wouter van Ooijen is the second trainer in the embedded workshop, which also will include some basic hardware to get started with embedded!

CppCon is just about to start! Like last year, I attend CppCon and will cover large parts of it over my twitter account meetingcpp! This years CppCon is even more packed then last years, with OpenContent sessions in the lunch breaks and panels and of course lightning talks! With 6 sessions in parallel, even Attendees will only be able to see less then 20% of the content, so good that everything is recorded!
