It is always interesting to see, which company is the first sponsor of the Meeting C++ conference. While for a lot of sponsors the decision is easy, often it includes some internal processes that aren't that fast. Plus that some people might still be just arriving from their easter holiday today just to see Meeting C++ 2016 announced.

Great news: Since yesterday, both of the keynotes from this years Meeting C++ conference are on youtube! Both keynote speakers chose to speak on a specific topic, and delivered very well. There is also a playlist for Meeting C++ 2015.

Yesterday at midnight the feedback period ended. Over 100 people provided feedback in voting on talks and speakers in a range between 0 - 5 and/or commenting on the talks. Also the ability to give general feedback to me was used a lot, thanks!

This year for the very first time we had lightning talks at the Meeting C++ conference. Two sessions with each 5 lightning talks were held. Eight of them were submitted by the attendees, two others I could organize: the lightning talk about brigand I had seen previously at CppCon, a project worth supporting, and the lightning talk on clang format and tidy by Daniel Jasper who works on the team of Chandler Carruth.
