A short paragraph on the statistics for August. August was a wunderfull month, sunny and warm, I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted :) Still, August was a very successfull month, also the first month with advertising in the form of bannder ads at Meeting C++!

Now that July has passed, a short news entry about what it achieved. Trafficwise July was the 2nd successful month for my project. With 13815 visitors, the average is a little more then 445 visitors each day. Which is quite nice, as at the end the advertising module went live, so you can do banner ads now at Meeting C++!

Statistics: May 2013

Shortly a few words about the statistics for may. May was a busy month with me visiting and speaking at C++Now 2013 at Aspen, Colorado. While it was a nice trip, I was also busy with the end for the call for papers, and letting the committee do the vote etc. So, except writing a short trip report for C++Now, I didn't do much on the site in may that was visible to the visitor. Still, in may, There have been 6209 visits on the website:

Call for Papers has ended

The Call for Papers for this years Meeting C++ conference has ended last week wednesday. Currently the voting is going on, the Committee can vote between 0 and 5 on every submitted talk. The deadline for this is May 30th. There have been submitted 39 Talks by 29 Speakers. The theme track on UI will be a bit shorter then planned, so most likely not spanning the full length of the conference. Also 2 speakers were too late, and could not submit their 4 talks in total.

As far as I know, there will be 4 User Group Meetings in May, 3 in Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf) and the C++ User Group London meets the first time! So, London will have its first meeting, and Dresden meets for the 2nd time, last time 50 people visited in Dresden. There will be a talk about Domain Driven Design in Dresden, at London you will get the chance to listen to a talk about SOCI afaik.
